Billing Rules

User-Related Charges

  • User-based pack charges (multiples of 100k users) can vary month to month.
  • These are billed in advance at the start of each month based on the number of enterprise-voice-enabled users at the start of that month (UTC timezone). For example, 200k users would be billed as 2 x 100k, and 201k users would be billed as 3 x 100k.
  • The first month is pro-rated from the initial onboarding date. If a Full Brand is also part of the initial onboarding, then both will be billed from the Full Brand Ready for Customisation date.

Branding

  • Full and Theme branding are billed upon issuance of the “Ready for Customisation” notification. From that point, the partner can configure logos and portal theme settings and optionally make the Full or Theme brand available to child partners.
  • Full Brands are always provisioned for the Microsoft Commercial cloud. If other Microsoft Clouds are required (e.g. GCC High) then they may be added at no additional cost, but only the Microsoft Commercial cloud configuration is required to trigger billing.
  • The first month’s Full or Theme Brand fee is pro-rated from the Ready for Customisation date.
  • A Full or Theme Brand can only be terminated with effect from the end of a calendar month; no pro-rated refunds are given for partial months.
  • A Full or Theme Brand can only be terminated if there are no customers provisioned on it, and the Partner is responsible for deprovisioning customers prior to requesting termination of the Full or Theme Brand.
  • For Full Brand only, there is a minimum term of 12 months; Theme Brand has no minimum term.

Additional Region

  • Additional Regions are billed when they are made available in the provisioner portal for at least one Full Brand (the “Activation Date”).
  • When requesting an additional region, if there are multiple Full Brands, the partner must specify which Full Brands to make the region available on.
  • The first month’s Additional Region fee is pro-rated from the Activation Date.
  • An Additional Region can only be terminated with effect from the end of a calendar month; no pro-rated refunds are given for partial months.
  • An Additional Region can only be terminated if there are no customers provisioned on it.
  • There is a minimum term of 12 months for each Additional Region.
