Audit Log Overview
Viewing Modifications
Call Manager keeps an audit log of all access and changes that take place on a tenant account. This is available directly from the Call Manager interface under 'Organization' on the left hand menu, then 'Audit Log'.
By default, only modification actions are shown (create/edit/delete). For example, here is the view that shows all changes made today. We can see that a new group was created from Call Manager called 'Example New Group':
The row can be expanded to see the full API path, request and response:
Note that sensitive HTTP responses are not shown. In Call Manager this means portal user invitations will show only summary data in the audit log, the full HTTP response (that includes the token the new end-user requires to make an account) is not stored.
Viewing All Access
The Audit Log can also be used to view all API calls, including read (GET) requests. Select the 'Action Type' dropdown to filter accordingly.
System and Partner Changes
Modifications made by the system background tasks, or upstream partner users, are shown in the Audit log but without identifying the user that made the change. System changes are tagged as 'System', an example might be all the API calls involved in checking and migrating public holidays within Wizard Call Flows. Changes made by partner users are tagged as 'Partner'. These are entries created when a partner has used 'Access Service' from the Provisioner platform to gain access to a specific tenant's Call Manager instance.
